Encourage one another daily... 1 Thess. 5:11 tells us to do that. Joel Osteen has been anointed by God to encourage people, and I'm grateful. I was skeptical of this book at first, thinking it would just be another positive-thinking book-yada-yada-yada. But it's so much more! It's simple childlike faith in God Who desires exactly that kind of faith from us. Reading the book helped me to see that sometimes I over-analyze over-think, rather than simply trust and believe His Word. God honors faith in His people, infact only through faith do we receive any good thing from Him. Joel Osteen is not a Bible scholar-teacher and that's okay -- that is not what God wants him to be. Osteen is an Encourager and we all sure need a good dose of that DAILY. I know I do. He's doing exactly what God wants him to do. God wants His people to be blessed and to have favor so that the world will SEE how good God is to them, and want Him for themselves, too. There's enough criticizing -- let's encourage one another, daily. Thanks Joel!
