Wonderfully encouraging! I think 'Your Best Life Now' is a refreshing view of how God wants us to be the best we can be with Christ in us. Everything that Joel Osteen wrote in his book is how I think God wants us to believe. God is speaking through Joel to let us know that we should live our best life now and not wait. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone.As one reviewer said, "Why not preach the full Gospel"? Jesus said that He came to give us life and life more abundantly. If He suffered so horribly on the cross for our sins and for us to have a better life, why can't we accept that. Why must we continue to suffer over and over instead of taking God at His word? I thank Him everyday that I have a God who is bigger than anyone else and who can provide for me better than anyone else. No, He does not give us everything that we pray for and want because everything that we want is not in His will. He sees our future. Maybe some things that we want are not good for us at all. But He gave us an ultimate will. He wants us to ask for bigger things that will give Him glory. Thanks to Joel, I am going to write MY first book soon. I will list it with Amazon.com. Thanks for the encouragement! Someone must have thought the same way I think. It's a bestseller!
