Hearthbreaking! Undoubtedly Elizabeth George is a clever and enjoyable writer. I have read all ofher books the instant that I could get my hands on them---even in hardcover. However, a friend gave the shocker away to me about this one, and I have given the book away unread. The world is a very sad place, and I don't need to make myself unhappier by experiencing (if only by reading) the loss of something so wonderful in this series. I'm tired of the darkness...
