Colossal Waste of Time As soon as I found out I was pregnant I ordered this book from Amazon. I'll admit, I fell for the hype. Apparently this is "The book to get when you're pregnant". Boy,what a waste. I really don't see why it is so insanely popular! If you need a book to tell you to run to your doctor every time you have a question or concern then this book is for you. If you want to be patronized page after page then this book is for you. Overall I think this book is written for people who are a) easily influenced, b) believe everything the read and c) are susceptible to scare tactics. If you are the kind of person who is willing to think for yourself and make informed decisions, I would go elsewhere. Try www.babycenter.com for good information and unbiased answers to your questions, and read "The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy" for those little extras no one else tells you as well as some much needed comic relief! p.s. congrats on your pregnancy!!
