Be careful of reading the review titled"Everything except... This person is dishonest because they are trying to plug a website called "thegreatbustahead".com. How tacky! If you look in everyone of this person's reviews, they are trying to plug this website. Haven't actually read this book, but don't listen to... more
I am young, fabulous, but not broke any more. I followed what Suze said about in the book and stepped out my cycle of being broke: wisely judge of good and bad use of using credit cards. Now I started to have a little saving and build up my career. Good for me!

A MUST read for high schoolers, 20 somethings and beyond! I watched a good portion of Suze's seminar on PBS over the weekend and was made aware of this book, which I immediately purchased. This book has excellent, well written advice for all things relating to money and smart decisions to create a happy and... more
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW - EXCEPT THE MOST CRITICAL THING Wonderful stuff and all good advice for a person of just about any age. But let me ask you this - IF it were revealed to you that there is an economic catastrophy looming just a few years from now of an historically unprecedented magnitude, wouldn't... more
Suze Orman is fabulous I saw Suze on public television last weekend and got hooked into her advice. I bought the book on Saturday and read it all Sunday. This woman gives great tips. She is sensible and offers choices to pay down credit cards, organize your credit, save... more
Book is geared to help people toward financial success. Suzy has written a good book on this seldom talked about aspect of young adult life--being responsible financially. While most young people are just worrying about how much they are going to make on their next job, this book gets into how to save and... more

Where do I send the check? I should send Suze a check (in addition to the funds she'll receive from ordering a copy of her book) because in the first 10 minutes of looking through it, I saw the wisdom in her advice to open up a home savings account, change my 401k contribution... more
This Ain't Your Parents' Money Book Suze's book caught my eye as I was browsing my local bookstore. Young, Fabulous, and Broke is the perfect descriptor for my life right now. The cover price was ridiculous--why ask $25 for a book for broke people? Because the first thing you read in the... more
Good information on finances. This book has some very good information for people of any age. If you have enjoyed other books written by Suze you will definitely enjoy this book. It is a book that is easy to understand and has information that is simple to implement.

Why isn't this required reading in high school? How many people graduate from high school and even college within knowing the basics of financial literacy - deciphering credit ratings, maintaining and balancing a bank account, getting through college with a minimum of student debt, making the most... more
Excellent and sound advice Suze aims her always-practical and sound advice at a generation in much need of it - the older Gen X-ers and Y-ers. Young people have been neglected in the financial arena, and often get to adulthood without sound knowledge of where to start, especially... more
Better than the rest! I have read many financial books, and this one by far is the most refreshing. I am learning step by step how to secure a successful, and non-broke future even after acquiring enough school loans that would make most people faint. Suze gives the young... more
GOOD EVEN FOR US FORTY-SOMETHINGS I haven't watched Suze on TV for that long but she always seems to make sense and what's more, common sense when it comes to making financial decisions. I guess I am a bit outside of the age range that this is intended for being in my early 40's but... more
Young and the Restless I'll be frank right up front. While I had purchased Suze Ormans initial offering " Nine Steps To Financial Freedom " I tend to take her advice with a grain of salt and a sense of humour. Don't misunderstand me...Suze Orman has probably forgotten more... more
Great resource for the 20-30 something crowd Written in her warm, inimitable style, THE MONEY BOOK FOR THE YOUNG, FABULOUS & BROKE is an essential resource for the young twenty to thirty something crowd. From a YF & NOT Ber Ok, I am new to Suze Orman...been watching her show for under a year right now, and all I can say is THE WOMAN MAKES SENSE! I really do not understand the negative reviews. If you find her stuff "common sense" as you put it, then chances are she did not... more
I may not exactly be YF&B... I'm thirty-something. I have a wife and two children. I've been extremely fortunate in my life to have side-stepped many of the financial potholes that Suze mentions in this book. So...Young? I'm probably topping out the range. Fabulous? In my children's... more
Rehash with a different cover I think one KEY point that Suze's readers should stick to if they want to save SOME money... don't buy another book with regurgitated stuff from earlier books, thrown together with a new and catchy title, designed primarily to make the author even richer!... more
