Plain and Simple: I liked it! I was a big fan of Tuesdays With Morrie, a book about a man who goes back to visit his old college professor and, along the way, is reminded about the important things in life -- and not taking things for granted. Some of these themes seemed to have crossed over in Mitch Albom's new book, which examines a life told from the point of view of someone who has died. It plays out like an interesting Twilight Zone episode crossed with A Christmas Carol. In the afterlife, the protagonist is visited by people he crossed paths with in life -- and what these people have to say, what they have to teach (and indirectly teach us) is fascinating. I won't give too much away, but I do recommend this small entertaining fantasy. Read it before they make it into a movie!
