I hate self help books. I'm not Christian. I love this book. It's a fast read and most importantly, it's a fast remember. Just when I'm about to assume that my boyfriend knows how much I care about him because we are CONSTANTLY together (I'm Quality Time) I remember that he's a Words of Affirmation Guy. So all I have to do is open my mouth and SAY what I'm thinking. We even jokingly ask how each other's love tanks are. I'm happy to report that they frequently overflow. It's an amazing little lesson in daily relationship maintenence - if it is too hard to use this system, you might want to rethink the relationship and find someone who naturally complements your language.
