BOOM! This is the fourth graphic novel in Frank Miller's Sin City series. John Hartigan is one of the few honest cops in Sin City, and it's his last day on the job before he retires. He saves a little girl from a rapist/child killer, but the murderer has... more
Wow. I'm not big on violence or action, but this book is absolutely *brilliant*. I love Miller's style and sense of humor. Hartigan's struggle to protect Nancy, resist her seductions, and finally kill the yellow bastard is magnificently written and illustrated.... more

The Essential Hard Luck Heroe Story This collection of the originally six-issue storyline "That Yellow Bastard" might just be the best volume the Sin City line has offered so far. Both art as storywise everything is top-notch. The choice Miller made to add the color yellow to... more
POWERFUL STUFF This Sin City graphic novel is one of Miller's best. Hartigan is Miller's most likable Sin City hero as he is a rare honest cop who will not back down for anyone. There is a lot of good drawing;the image of Harigan in a floating cell underscores his... more
Sin City's best If Dirty Harry worked out of Sin City, he would be Hartigan. The strict moral code, the unorthodox way of handling things, the utmost respect for the law and the utmost disrespect for anyone who tries to break it; it's all there. But Dirty Harry never... more
Buy This Book I promise you'll Like it. Frank Miller takes us back to the world of Sin City with a bang.
