A real page turner with southern flair I read this book at the recommendation of my Mother who is from N.C. and I loved it. I could hardly put it down and when it ended I was disappointed to have to leave the characters that I had gotten to know so well in the book. I found her writing to bring the characters and the scenery to life for me, her descriptions from kneeling on grits to the humming of the bees bring everything to life. A fun, fast read (though it did bring some tears to my eyes here and there). I am looking forward to more from Sue.
