This Author loves to drone on and on..... I was so bored with this book that I ended up not finishing it. It's a shame because I love reading about other cultures and was very intrigued by the concept of this book. Unfortunately, the book is very unpleasant to read. First of all, the author is rather cold and emotionless, the book reads like a textbook; secondly, the prose is not pretty and does not flow well, again, reads like a boring old textbook.
