Networking made easy
I've read many networking and business books but none as good as Keith Ferrazzi's "Never Eat Alone". In my view anyone, anywhere, in any type of business can apply the concepts that Mr. Ferrazzi describes in this book - relationship building. His personal experiences provided concrete examples of how he has successfully built and maintained relationships throughout the years. Even though many of his readers will not be rubbing shoulders with the likes of President Bill Clinton, the concepts and suggestions are easily applied to the average business. What I especially liked about the book is that Mr. Ferrazzi provides explanations of why some ideas have worked better than others. He describes both his successes and failures. After reading the first few chapters I found myself reaching for a pen and paper to jot the ideas presented so I could implement them into my own professional practice. Many authors just provide a list of what you should do but never explain why or how it works. The personalized style and ancedotal stories refreshingly provide the answer. An excellent, quick, must read for anyone already in business or starting a business. A++
