de-coding mothers and daughters - it is possible!

I loved this book because of its clarity and insight. I am a huge fan of Dr. Nothrup. With all due respect, her book seems like a a natural companion to a book I co-authored two years ago. It's called "You Have To Say I'm Pretty, You're My Daughter." The subtitle is: "How to help your daughter learn to love her body and herself." The authors are Stephanie Pierson and Phyllis Cohen. Simon & Schuster is the publisher. Mothers and daughters do have such a complex, profound connection - I learned this more from my daughter than from my mother. And I learned from experience how confusing this can be when your daughter is an adolescent. I applaud Dr. Northrup's new book and Mary Pipher's "Reviving Ophelia" - they are two brilliant books in an area where it is difficult to find credible up-to-date information, good advice, keen insight and a lucid personal voice. I would love if readers who admire Dr. Northrup and Mary Pipher (as well as Dr. Northrup and Dr. Pipher!) would read my book, which I think adds yet another dimension. I hope that this won't be seen as a plug for my book but as my own passionate desire to educate and enlighten mothers and daughters.
