Really good book, would like more depth though!

Christiane Northrup does it again by creating yet another great book. The mother-daughter relationship can be so special, but is often marred with conflict and emotional distance. This is a great loss for both mother and daughter. Mother-Daughter Wisdom is a good place to start if you are wanting more from this very important relationship. I think this book is probably most appropriate for relationships that start off pretty healthy. If your mother-daughter relationship is in need of repair rather than a mere tune-up I would suggest that you take a look at something with a little more depth. I was wanting a repair manual when I purchased Mother-Daughter Wisdom and was a bit disappointed. I then found what I was looking for in a book by Mark Gaskill (family therapist and parenting expert) called "Systemic Parenting: An Exploration of the Parenting Big Picture." Again, the former book is great for touch-ups, the later for major relationship overhauls. Both would compliment every mother-daughter relationship.
