Eugenides Is A Master Wordsmith I cannot say enough good things about Jeffrey Eugenides and his works. I read "The Virgin Suicides" long before it was made into a movie and I was blown away by his writing style. "Middlesex" was no different. The novel is so elegant and touching, but provocative and disturbing too. The characters were created in such a way that the reader could not help but fall under their spell. I eagerly await Eugenides next novel and I highly recommend both "The Virgin Suicides" and "Middlesex."
