Thoughtful and Heartaching "Middlesex" was such a great book! Filled with laughs, shocking situations, and heartbreaking situations throughout, the story provides great insight into a normal life that isn't so normal. While the situations and relationships may appear foreign, the author provides great insight into better understanding the people involved (specifically the main character's struggle) and how they can continue to love and support each other through the trying difficulties of secret pasts and presents. I thought this was a fantastic book in general!
