Three cheers for Irish storytelling!

What an absolutely amazing book! This is beautifully written with a wonderful plot. (Well, I may be biased since I am a storyteller.) Reading fictional accounts of Ireland's history through a storyteller is a great way to get your history lesson. Ronan's search for the storyteller is also very griping. What a wonderful accomplishment by Frank Delaney-- similar to Edward Rutherfurd or James Michener. I would like a sequel where Ronan travels Ireland as a storyteller. (Even though the book said "the storyteller" was the last of the seanchai.) Perhaps Delaney would write a novel dealing with the storytellers to the kings or the bards of long ago. If you love Ireland, you will really enjoy this book and if you are a storyteller, it is required reading! A true masterpiece of historical fiction.
