If only...
I love the way Wolfe writes. Furthermore, he brings you into the novel. Charlotte Simmons is no exception. His insights into people--pretty much everything, in fact---are singular. From the beginning, you root for poor (literally) Charlotte Simmons from the sticks at the bonfire of the vanities college version--DuPont University. I would have read it in one sitting if I could have read that fast. Ultimately, it seems like the end was hurried, but I don't want to give away anything of the end. Overall, well worth it.
