Good book, mediocre ending

I gave this book 4 stars because IMO, the point of a story is the journey, not the conclusion/ending.

It was a fast paced page turner, something I haven't seen, or read in this case, in quite a while. Short chapters, lots of action, lots of "cool" comments by me as bits of character information was released after you were lead down a slightly different road. Most importanly, its economical use of story telling was such that you were not bored with irrevelant facts and character info that do nothing but add weight between the covers.

I liked the book. But as many said, the ending was a bit..... well lets say, unfinished. There was so much promise to have Nora, the main character, flush more of her psychology and motives out at the climax. Fact is, nothing came out of her as to her motives. Instead, the story ending left many unaswered questions on .... why?

But that's the beauty of a good story, always wanting more. If I thought it stunk, I would have thought, "who cares anyway". Buy it, you will enjoy it for it's well written with enough plot twists and action to make up for what it may lack in the end.
