Well, obviously Big is NOT that into Carrie now is he!

This book boggles my mind! I am definitely NOT going to read it after reading the chapter titles! Any book with chapter titles like that is obviously laying out some huge stereotypes that I am not interested in reading about, especially since this book is not supposed to be a comic book.

But since I am a fan of Sex and the City and keep watching the DVDs long after Big swept Carrie in Paris, I want to say this! I can't believe that the reviewers here on amazon didn't pick up on the biggest contradiction of all regarding this book and it's author's affiliation with Sex and the City. Carrie was absolutely blasted away by Big and his commitment issues throughout the whole show, the man obviously showed all the signs that he was not into her according to this book. And then at the end Big comes running to her and tells her that she is the One and she happily bats her eyelashes and flies away with him?!?

Stop with this hypocrisy! It is suffocating!

We present day women have our own set of issues, but I don't think that the solution to them is to revert back to some ridiculous rules! It has nothing to do with the men, it has to do with what goes on in our own heads. That is the "harsh" reality we have to face.
