Extremely good for BOTH parties. Mr. Wallis seems to be that wonderful rarity; a moderate pastor. I am unsure to his political affiliations because I don't believe he has any. He makes a case in this book that what America truly needs are strong leaders, confident in their faith, who aren't afraid to truly fight the wrongs the bible lays out. He discusses how war is very rarely justifiable according to the teachings of the bible and goes on to explain the importance of fighting poverty. The bible, he says, discusses poverty in one out of sixteen verses. This isn't a book designed to convert either side to the other, but one designed to bring both sides to a realization. That we need to stop bickering and start solving problems truly as God would want us to.
