Dig Deeper God's Politics is a book that has the potential to wake up citizens of the USA to better politics through spiritual understanding. I am not a Christian but I believe Jesus was a great spiritual teacher. He was concerned with helping others. Jim Wallis' book reveals how we have used religion to hurt each other instead. The Religious Right does not have a monopoly on truth anymore than does the Secular Left. We need to dig deeper than we are prone to do in the USA. I believe Jesus was non-violent as was Gandhi. I believe in having a military - I just don't like the way we use it. Read his book!
